Brad Tidwell, Republican nominee for Virginia’s 53rd Delegate district, sees significant response in Falls Church and Fairfax over the 4th of July holiday.
Brad Tidwell, the Republican nominee for Virginia’s 53rd district, walked in the annual 4th of July parade in Fairfax on Main Street with the support of the Fairfax County Republican Committee. Tidwell and his volunteers handed out hundreds of American flags and fliers to children and passers-by on the parade route. Tidwell walked with other 2013 Virginia Republican candidates for office, Ken Cuccinelli, Patrice Winters and Freddy Burgos.
“It was good to see so many people in the community celebrating the founding of our country,” said Tidwell. “We had a strong presence at this event, and I really enjoyed interacting with voters on a personal level. The response from the community has been fantastic, in large part thanks to the help of our dedicated volunteers.”
Tidwell and his supporters concluded the day at the George Mason High School’s annual July 4th Independence Day Celebration at the Moore Cadillac Stadium. There, they handed out hundreds more fliers to local community members. “We were able to introduce the campaign to a lot of local voters in a personal way,” continued Tidwell. “The reception was terrific, and the fireworks made for a great end to the evening.”
